ABOUT THIS COURSE
This free training course, developed in conjunction with the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), is intended to give you the context experience and realistic skills you need to encourage inclusivity in presentations, messaging, and other communications.
This course is for anybody who interacts with others in a formal setting, but it is particularly useful for anyone who give presentations or talk at events on a daily basis.
You will learn critical context information and practical skills to encourage inclusivity in presentations, marketing, and other interactions by the end of this course.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This course covers the details on diversity in technology, the value of diversity in engineering, the fundamentals of unconscious and cultural bias, and how to understand the many ways unconscious bias manifests itself in technological environments. The course also brings research-based material to the task of being a more inclusive speaker, with actionable insights, resources, and examples.
