If you want to explore the fundamental building blocks of cybersecurity, this program is your way to go. The demand for qualified security engineers is skyrocketing, experts say that there will be nearly 2 million open jobs in the industry by 2022.
During the course, you will learn how networks handle routing, load-balancing and DNS. You will get familiar with the security core principles and critical security controls. You will secure your first business network on a Windows 10 client system. Your mentors will introduce you to vulnerabilities and incident response which enables you to fix issues and respond to attacks. You will also gain tons of knowledge on governance, risk and compliance.
The course takes around 4 months to complete. There are some recommended skills you should have to enroll – basic knowledge of network connectivity is a must, as well as OS fundamentals.
