Certified ONAP Professional (COP)
Competencies: Service Design, Service Deployment, Service LCM, Troubleshooting, Closed Loop Automation
ABOUT THIS CERTIFICATION EXAM
This credential is intended for engineers at service providers and businesses that design, implement, and scale networks and next-generation systems, especially in light of the growing importance of 5G and edge computing. The exam expects a basic understanding of the underlying cloud framework (e.g., Kubernetes and OpenStack) as well as a working knowledge of modelling languages (e.g. Heat and TOSCA).
This is a proctored online test that can take up to three hours to complete. The exam is focused on results and contains elements that simulate on-the-job situations.
Your exam setup requires a Remote Desktop Linux Environment and nested virtualized architecture to support a restricted ONAP deployment.
THE LINUX FOUNDATION CERTIFICATION VERIFICATION TOOL
Individuals who have obtained Linux certification represent the best available talent and have the skills needed to execute difficult real-world activities under time constraints. This verification tool helps you to validate the certification’s validity. Credentials can also be checked by potential employees in order to confirm learned competencies.
A Certified ONAP Professional (COP) designs and operates services using the Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP)
A successful candidate for COP would be able to onboard Virtual Network Functions (VNFs), plan and execute network services, and customize VNFs. Candidates must also provide fundamental knowledge of closed-loop automation, including closed-loop architecture and runtime behavior. An applicant would also have basic troubleshooting skills to identify problems with network networks and closed-loops.
