Certified ONAP Professional (COP)

ABOUT THIS CERTIFICATION EXAM

This credential is intended for engineers at service providers and businesses that design, implement, and scale networks and next-generation systems, especially in light of the growing importance of 5G and edge computing. The exam expects a basic understanding of the underlying cloud framework (e.g., Kubernetes and OpenStack) as well as a working knowledge of modelling languages (e.g. Heat and TOSCA).

This is a proctored online test that can take up to three hours to complete. The exam is focused on results and contains elements that simulate on-the-job situations.

JOB OVERVIEW

A Certified ONAP Professional (COP) designs and operates services using the Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP)

A successful candidate for COP would be able to onboard Virtual Network Functions (VNFs), plan and execute network services, and customize VNFs. Candidates must also provide fundamental knowledge of closed-loop automation, including closed-loop architecture and runtime behavior. An applicant would also have basic troubleshooting skills to identify problems with network networks and closed-loops.
