ABOUT THIS COURSE

We now rely on the cloud to provide digital value to customers. However, DevOps and the cloud have reshaped conventional procurement. In this free course, you will learn how FinOps brings IT, industry, and finance together to use cloud to innovate, execute, and make money.
This course is aimed at a diverse group of people, including technical experts (IT, DevOps, engineers, architects), finance, procurement, and accounting practitioners, corporate unit or product managers, and executives.

This course would train product teams to be more responsive to consumer demand, DevOps teams to develop quickly and more efficiently, and cloud spend to be closely controlled. You will learn how to create a cloud-accountability culture that allows the company to make good, timely, data-backed decisions in the cloud, not only to save money, but to make money.

In this course, you can learn about the effects of DevOps and cloud on how IT costs are managed, what FinOps is and how it can address some of these effects, the considerations that go into forming a FinOps team within an organisation, the scope of the capabilities a FinOps team will perform to achieve the organization’s cloud use goals, and how the FinOps Foundation will help with best practises.
