ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course is intended for developers who want to learn how to deliver software that is safer, faster, and more reliable; quality analysts who want to set up automated testing, leverage disposable environments, and integrate it with CI tools; operations engineers, system administrators, DevOps/SRE practitioners who are responsible for deploying software and managing production environments; and developers who want to build and release software.
This course will teach you how to be agile and produce functionality quickly while still meeting non-functional criteria such as availability, stability, scalability, security, and others.
To successfully complete the lab activities in this course, you must have access to a Linux server or a Linux desktop/laptop. You’ll also need access to a public cloud service or VirtualBox on your machine. The course includes detailed guidance for setting up your lab space.
If you’re using a cloud service like GCP or AWS, you should be able to finish the lab exercises with the free tier or credits that were given to you. However, you can be charged if you use more credits than the cloud provider originally allocated to you, or if the cloud provider’s terms and conditions change.
