ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course covers different areas of Jenkins’ accessibility and administration. You will have a solid understanding of containerized installation, distributed builds in Kubernetes clusters, advanced security features, multi-branch pipelines, and GitOps with Jenkins concepts after completing this course.
This course is intended for DevOps programmers, Quality Assurance staff, SREs, and software developers and architects who want to learn about Jenkins CI/CD. Students should have a basic understanding of Jenkins and be acquainted with Kubernetes and Docker before enrolling.
You will be able to scale a Jenkins CI/CD server using containerized and cloud-based solutions, use Jenkins multi-branch pipelines to support pipeline development at the repository level, and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps concepts with Jenkins after completing this course. These abilities can train you for positions such as SRE, DevOps, and release engineer.
LAB INFO
This course’s lab exercises are planned to run on either native hardware or a virtual machine (VM) running under a hypervisor, such as those from the KVM, VMWare, or Virtual Box families. The course includes detailed guidance for setting up your lab space.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This course will teach you how to set up Jenkins in a Kubernetes cluster, automate Jenkins installation using IaC concepts, set up a highly available Jenkins server, scale Jenkins infrastructure using static and dynamic build agents, automate various routine Jenkins tasks using CLI and RestAPI, organise Jenkins jobs and implement fine-grained security controls, and set up an effective CI/CD pipeline.
